Dave Mitchell
Dave is responsible for the design and implementation of IBM's Software as a Service partner programs worldwide. These programs provide technical and marketing support to hundreds of application vendors who are adopting or who have already embraced the Software as a Service delivery model. In this capacity, he also frequently interacts with the venture capital and analyst community.
Currently based in Somers, NY, Dave has held a number of international positions during his career at IBM. He has been involved in IBM's web and application hosting business for more than 10 years. His previous roles include Global Offering Manager for IBM e-business Hosting Services, EMEA Intranet Solutions Manager and UK Internet Marketing Manager.
Dave joined IBM in 1995 after graduating from University of Portsmouth with a BA and Honors in Business Studies. He also holds a post-graduate diploma from the Charter Institute of Marketing.

Russell Scherwin
Russell Scherwin is the Director of Product Marketing for iWay Software, where he drives go-to-market activities around service-oriented business integration and is a highly regarded industry speaker. Previously a management and technology consultant, he has helped clients in the automotive, healthcare, media, consumer-products and telecommunications industries use integration technology to create competitive advantage.
Before moving into consulting, Russell was a part of the WebSphere for OS/390 development team. He has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU in Finance and Marketing and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
Jeff Silbert
Jeff oversees all marketing efforts for M5 including lead generation, branding, and partnerships. Jeff has more than 15 years experience in increasing revenue, building brands and forging alliances within the software and communications industry.
Silbert is a sought after speaker on the topic of Voice over IP and small business technology marketing, having spoken at the Internet Telephony Conference & Expo, ISPCON, Comptel, Frost & Sullivan's Sales & Marketing Executive MindXchange, ITEC, New Jersey Growth Showcase, NJ Small Business Conference, SMB Nation and other industry-wide and local events.
Prior to joining M5, Jeff served as vice president of business development and corporate strategy for uReach Technologies, a venture-funded provider of enhanced messaging and communications services. Previously, Jeff served as director of marketing and business development for the OEM division of NetManage, Inc. Earlier in his career, he led the development of the consumer software brand strategy for Discovery Channel. Jeff, who received his MBA from Duke University, and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, began his career at Accenture, as a management consultant.
Marc Simony
Logicworks provides enterprise-level managed hosting to SMB and mid-market companies, and is increasingly involved in helping startup-SaaS providers come to market correctly and cost effectively. As Director of Business Development of Logicworks, Marc Simony is responsible for all vendor, partner, and channel relationships. He has put together a service provider licensing panel for lawyers (with educational credits), presented twice on SaaS requirements and pitfalls at the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (in NYC and NJ), and convinced several large ISVs to offer service provider licensing to help bring Logicworks' customers to market more effectively.
Patrick A. Smith
As Vice President of Product Marketing, Pat Smith is responsible for product marketing and management of Vettro's mobile CRM and field sales product line.
Smith joined Vettro in 2004 and brings over 20 years of product management and software development experience to the firm. Prior to joining Vettro, Smith was the Practice Director at Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL), developing products for the Aerospace and Defense community. Smith also held the position of Director of Operations - New York at Cysive, Inc. (NASDAQ: CYSV), a multi-channel software solutions provider. At Cysive, Smith was responsible for sales and implementation of the company's mobile software platform, the Cysive Cymbio Interaction Serverâ„¢.
Smith holds a BA in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from George Washington University.
